KEPServerEX OPC Server is designed to quickly setup communications to your control systems using a wide range of available "plug-in" device drivers and components. With support for the Modbus RTU protocol and over 130 others, transferring data to your client software is easy. KEPServerEx provides a common user interface for all device drivers, providing consistent access from your client applications using Certified OPC or native interfaces.
Client applications receive data by connecting to a server that will collect data for them in a standardized format. KEPServerEX’s job is to collect device data from devices that can communicate using any of the 130 supported protocols. Then translate the data into a standardized values to be communicated using OPC or Windows DDE for all clients to read and understand.
