Jim House and Associates, Inc.

Jim House & Associates was formed in January 1957 to do business as a manufacturer’s rep. Initially only one manufacturer was represented however that manufacturer was a leading supplier of equipment for waste water collection and treatment. The manufacturer was also recognized as an authoritative source of the latest technology in waste water treatment because of their R & D work and their joint efforts in research with leading Universities. This technology was centered around biological processes that were little used at the time but are now the standard basis of design for practically all new plant construction. The company’s success in representing a manufacturer with superior equipment and technology formed the basis for evaluating and selecting other manufacturers of equipment to represent whose equipment was suited to use in the water and waste water treatment industry.
