Refinery gas in general includes a variety of gasmixtures coming from a wide range of sources in the refining process of crude oil. Measuring these gas compositions precisely and accurately is a significant challenge in today’s refinery operations. This requires a versatile, flexible and robust analyzer.

The natural gas used by consumers consists mainly of methane with some C2-C6 hydrocarbon and permanent gas impurities. However, raw natural gas may come from different sources, oil wells, gas wells and condensate wells, and is not pure when initially produced. The natural gas composition also differs depending on the source. In order to analyze these different natural gas compositions accurately, various natural gas analyzer configurations are required.
