Kalenborn - Model KALBOND - High-Performance Adhesive Bonding System

KALBOND high-performance adhesive bonding system is custom engineered for specific applications, providing superior adhesion and strength. It permits the bonding of engineered KALOCER protective linings to components used in dynamic situations and subject to abrasion and corrosion. KALBOND® helps extend the service life of moving parts such as fan blades, classifier rotors, screw augers and other complex shapes.

Kalenborn - Model KALPOXY TWC - Trowelable Epoxy Repair Compound

KALPOXY TWC is a two-part trowelable epoxy repair compound containing 50%, by volume, sapphire hard (9 mohs) alumina ceramic beads (Al2O3) and silicon carbide particles. Easy to mix and apply, the thixotropic paste is self-curing. KALPOXY TWC can be used as a protective coating or to repair worn areas in material handling equipment or components conveying abrasive materials.

Kalenborn - Model KALCOR - Zirconium Corundum Tubes

Wear-resistant KALCOR pipe systems are abrasion-resistant and enable application temperatures of up to + 400 °C as well as good temperature change resistance. The cast tubular cylinders are made of zirconium corundum with thin wall thicknesses starting from 12 mm. Kalenborn also produces lined pipe bends from fittings.

Kalenborn - Model ABRESIST - Cast Basalt Pipes

Fused basalt ABRESIST has proven to be an excellent protective lining in pipes and pipe bends. In both pneumatic and hydraulic delivery lines, wear is significantly minimized by built-in tubular cylinders. ABRESIST pipes and pipe bends have an extremely smooth surface after a short period of operation, thereby avoiding blockages caused by moist materials. Due to the corrosion resistance of ABRESIST, pipes, and pipe bends always remain ready for use even after long periods of downtime.

Kalenborn - Model KALOCER - Alumina Ceramic Tubes

KALOCER pipes and pipe bends are lined with thin pipe cylinders made of special oxide ceramics and designed for extreme wear and/or temperature stress. The permanently smooth surfaces promote flow behavior and avoid blockages caused by moist materials. Due to their corrosion resistance, KALOCER pipes and pipe bends always remain ready for use even after long periods of downtime. Depending on the load, shape, and diameter, Kalenborn produces KALOCER pipes with pipe cylinders as well as KALOCER pipes with fittings (pipe bricks) or individual plates.

Kalenborn - Model KALDETECT - Wear Protection Monitoring System

For critical cases, Kalenborn has systems in its program for plant components that indicate the possible wear of the protective lining and thus give the operator the information to act at an early stage.  Indicator stones at different heights are integrated in a ceramic anti-wear lining or lining with a hard material compound. With increasing wear, the indicator stones become visible one after the other and provide information about the remaining degree of wear and the condition of the protective lining. Visual wear monitoring is suitable for individual parts or entire systems. 

Kalenborn - Green Pipe Lining System

Green pipes and pipe elbows have a wear-resistant lining that can be dismantled and recycled at the end of their life. A special fastening concept for the wear protection lining enables the old lining to be dismantled without destroying the steel jacket. The existing steel pipes are then relined with new material cylinders.

Kalenborn - Model KALFLEX - Flexible Hose Systems

The wear-resistant KALFLEX hoses are used where flexible radius and angle design is required. They are suitable for transporting very abrasive materials such as granules, quartz sand, sludge, lime powder, or coal dust. This way you avoid maintenance stops and hose changes.  ALFLEX are flexible elbows that can be easily installed with normal flanges. The core of the system consists of wear-resistant plates or segments made of oxide ceramic or hard cast iron, which are inserted into one another and flexibly moved into one another. The system is enclosed with a rubber jacket with a fabric insert, which ensures sufficient stability and tightness.
