KD - Model KD01 - Grit Classifier
With a choice of five different sizes, our KD 01 Grit Classifier offers an impressive separation capacity ranging from 20 to 140 m3 per hour. This advanced system is constructed from stainless steel that undergoes meticulous total pickling, guaranteeing exceptional durability and longevity. With simple and robust design features, our Grit Classifier operate at low speed, which not only minimises the need for maintenance but also significantly reduces operating costs. The specially designed inlet and outlet pipe system ensures efficient separation of the sand, after which it is directed into a shaftless auger placed in longitudinal slide rails for optimal performance.
KD Vortex - Model KD01.5 - Grit Chamber
The Vortex Grit Chamber is designed to efficiently separate sand and water, and if necessary, liquid materials. This robust unit is constructed with a solid welded structure that includes an outer tank, an inner tank and, when liquid materials need to be separated, a liquid outlet. The compact steel construction of the Vortex Grit Chamber not only optimises space utilisation, but also significantly reduces construction costs without compromising product lifetime or performance. This combination of durability and cost-effectiveness makes the Vortex Grit Chamber an ideal solution for water treatment systems seeking both reliability and economic sustainability.
KD - Model KD02 - Shaftless Screw Conveyors
KD 02 augers are available in six different sizes, tailored to the desired capacity for the transport requirement. In addition to these standard sizes, the shaftless screw conveyor can be customised to meet specific customer requirements in the following areas: Length, potential increases, inlet/outlet configurations (type/dimension), inlet position (customisation). These augers are particularly suitable for transporting materials with a tendency to stickiness and bridging, such as sludge, moist sand and particles with uneven grain size.
KD - Model KD03 - Shartless Screw Conveyor and Compactor
The Shartless Screw Conveyor and Compactor is offered in four different sizes, with capacities from 1 to 8 cubic metres per hour. These augers are specifically designed to handle screenings where an efficient separation of water and solids is essential. Constructed from stainless steel and carefully machined for optimal durability, the auger maintains exceptional quality and performance. The robust and simple construction ensures minimal maintenance and low running costs, which is achieved without compromising on product lifetime. The augers can be mounted both inclined and horizontal, and for inclined installation they are complemented with a bottom drain to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency in any configuration.
KD - Model KD04 - Sliding Gate for Conveyors
KD 04 sliding dampers are designed with a simple and robust construction that ensures reliable performance under different operating conditions. The choice of pneumatic or electric operation provides flexibility and adaptability to the needs of the system. The sliding dampers are specifically designed to be compatible with KD 02 shaftless augers and are also available in a manual variant if required. Inductive sensors provide information about the state of the damper, whether it is open or closed, which contributes to efficient and smooth operation. In addition, the Sliding Gate for Conveyors can be customised to the customer's specific requirements and needs if a custom design is required.
KD - Model KD05.1- 05.2 - Penstock for Total Pickling Process System
The Penstock is constructed from stainless steel and undergoes a total pickling process to ensure optimal durability. This quality construction ensures that the product can withstand demanding operating conditions without compromising on service life. With its robust and simple design, the shut-off damper requires minimal maintenance and results in low operating costs while maintaining high performance over time. The Penstock can be customised to customer preferences and current needs and come in different sizes to meet specific installation requirements.
KD - Model KD05.7 - Stop Logs
KD 05.7 Stop Logs are a reliable and versatile product consisting of seawater-resistant aluminium profiles and a stainless and acid-proof steel frame as standard. These stop logs are effectively used to close off or control levels, for example in canals or as flood protection. Their range of applications also extends to servicing, switching structures or directing flow in a specific direction for longer periods of time.
KD - Model KD07 - Gravity Belt Thickener
The KD 07 Gravity Belt Thickener form a dedicated series of pre-drainers specifically designed for mounting on the KD 10, 11 and KD 13 belt presses. Although the pre-waterer is primarily adapted to these belt press models, it can also be supplied as an autonomous unit that works independently. This pre-waterer is constructed on a hot-dip galvanised steel frame that is tailor-made to fit the belt press. This allows the pre-waterer to be placed directly on top of the sieve belt press with ease and efficiency.
KD - Model KD10 - 1500/- 2500 - Belt Press Hydraulic (HY)
The KD 10 - 1500/- 2500 Belt Press Hydraulic (HY) represent a new generation of advanced compactors designed and manufactured by Danish Wastewater Equipment A/S. These balers are quality, high-tech products created to achieve the highest possible dry matter concentration, even in challenging conditions with difficult to dewater sludge. The development of the belt presses is the result of close collaboration between our engineering team and input from municipal operations managers. User-friendliness, reliability and cleanability have been emphasised in the design of these balers to ensure an optimal operating experience.
KD - Model KD11 - Pneumatic 1200-1600 (PN) Pneumatic Belt Press
The KD 11 Belt Press Pneumatic 1200-1600 (PN) is an advanced high-pressure press from KD Maskinfabrik, designed to achieve high solids concentration even with difficult to dewater sludge. Developed through collaboration with engineers and municipal operators, it focuses on ease of use and reliable operation. Mounted on a solid hot-dip galvanised steel frame, the strategic placement of the drain and reject tank ensures easy installation directly on the floor. All materials in contact with sludge or water, including the pressure rollers, are stainless steel for long life and reliable performance in demanding conditions.
