Kemira Aluminum Sulfate granular, ironfree aluminum sulphate is a granulated easily dissolving coagulant for water treatment based on aluminum compounds. It is especially suitable for drinking water treatment and paper sizing.

In order to obtain more effective products, Kemira is continuously developing new products based on aluminum raw material. As a result of these efforts, we have introduced high-charge polyaluminum products, e.g. polyaluminum sulfates.

Kemira produces different types of polyaluminum salts in liquid form; Kemira Polyaluminum Chlorides are low and medium basicity standard products of polyaluminum chloride. They are good at reducing particles and still have phosphorus reduction properties. These are products in the range of 25 to 45% basicity (OH/Al ratio of 0.75 to 1.35) and are effective coagulants for treatment of both drinking water and wastewater.

Kemira masters the technology to produce polyaluminum salts in solid form. The Solid Polyaluminum sulfate concept stands for high purity solid polyaluminum salts of high aluminum content. Kemira Solid Polyaluminium Sulfates are cost effective products due to their high contents of active substance. No water has to be transported.

Kemira Sodium Aluminates are consistent, high quality liquids that can be used in water treatment and also in papermaking.

Kemira Ferric Chlorides are effective primary coagulants based on trivalent iron (Fe3+), excellent for both drinking water and sewage treatment as well as sludge conditioning. The products prevent odour by eliminating hydrogen sulphide.

Kemira Ferrous Sulfates are easily dissolveds coagulant for water treatment, based on bivalent iron (Fe2+). Since Kemira Ferrous Sulfates are able to form complex compounds with phosphorus, these products show excellent performance in simultaneous wastewater treatment processes.
