Kice - Air Pad Bin Bottoms
Used for products that are small in particle size, the air pad bin bottom injects air into the product so that it takes on a “fluid” state, which allows it to move like water on the air current. KICE Industries air pad bin bottoms are installed on storage tanks of all sizes, have no moving parts, and enable much quicker unloading compared to a vibrating bin bottom. When a product is fine and has a small particle size, it is possible to inject air into the product so that it takes on a “fluid” state. Products that typically bridge and do not flow will flow virtually like water when fluidized. Kice air pad bin bottoms have been built for many years and are installed on storage tanks of all sizes. Fluidized bin bottoms have no moving parts and are not only safer than vibrating bin bottoms, they can enable a bin to be unloaded in a matter of minutes.
Kice - Air Power Units
Kice air power units are suited for a wide range of applications such as positive and negative pressure conveying systems, fluidization systems, vacuum sweeper systems, filter systems and many other unique applications. Our engineers have four generations of experience in properly applying air power units.
Kice - Bran Finisher
As the Kice Shortflow Mill® began to take shape in 1991, Kice recognized the importance of recovering the minute amounts of endosperm retained by the bran at the end of the milling process. The ability to retain this trace flour can make a marked difference in the bottom line. Drawing on input from millers, Kice designed a machine that was easy to operate and very efficient: the Kice Bran Finisher. Today virtually every milling company in the U.S. uses the Kice bran finisher in one or more of its mills.
Kice - Centrifugal Fans
Kice Industries has some of the most experience in the pneumatic systems business, meaning we’re continually perfecting our methodology of dust collection and dust control. Our milling machines are some of the most advanced and efficient in the industry. Kice also puts a priority on the engineering and construction of Centrifugal Fans (aka Industrial Fans). Our fans serve industries where they must run around the clock, continually delivering high performance under tough conditions. Kice Centrifugal Fans operate in plants where downtime is unacceptable and plant efficiency is critical. It was with this in mind that Kice developed and has continually refined its line of Centrifugal Fans, which offer exceptional value and longevity to customers around the world.
Kice - Cyclones
Kice Industries has been building high-efficiency cyclones ever since the initial launch of our company. Along with our dust control and air systems, they are one of the core products that got us to where we are today. We have continually refined and improved upon our cyclones over the years, finding ways to adapt our designs to more applications and upgrading our materials for longer-lasting builds. Kice engineers are always looking for ways to improve, and our cyclones are no exception. Cyclones – or cyclone dust collectors, as they’re sometimes called – are essential to the processing of several products that have dust or small particle by-products often found in plastics, seeds, and dry food. Our engineers have studied the most popular cyclone lines and theories and have developed a simple line of cyclones that maximize efficiency while minimizing operation’s costs.
Airlocks
Kice - Fabricated Airlocks
The VL line of airlocks are all fabricated airlocks capable of handling capacities from 1.5 cubic feet per revolution to 17.3 cubic feet per revolution. These valves are best utilized in a low-pressure system and come standard with flexible tipped rotors.
Kice - Airlocks
Kice VJ airlocks are the most popular choice for standard applications. Kice VJ airlocks are drop-thru, inboard bearing units. They can be applied to a high percentage of the applications customers have. These cast iron valves are built at our own foundry, CFM Corporation. Clearances are kept between 0.003” – 0.005”. Sizes range from 6” to 30” diameter rotors. Kice VJ airlocks are built in large quantities. Kice VJOT airlocks feature external bearings and larger shaft diameters.
Baghouse Filters - V/R Round Filter
Kice VenturiJet - Round Filter
Kice VenturiJet Filters – While Kice believes that the medium pressure PneuJet system is the most effective means of providing continuous bag cleaning, the Kice VenturiJet system remains a practical solution as well. Using high pressure – 80-100 PSIG – plant air, venturies are used to induce additional air into the air stream that is cleaning the socks. Coupled with Kice’s attention to proper bag spacing, Kice VenturiJet filters have the ability to operate just as efficiently as most other medium pressure filters.
