The fine-pored shapes made of PE-porös by KIK offer excellent capabilities for reducing the acoustic pressure at pneumatic equipment substantially. KIK’s PE-porös silencers feature a high level of silencing and a low reduction in volume flow.

Under the brand name PE-porös, KIK offers filter elements made of porous polyethylene (HDPE / UHMWPE), for use both in liquid and gas filtration. For use in filtering equipment of all kinds, we manufacture filter media in almost any geometry wanted, and in a wide range of filtration grades, from 1 µm to far over 100 µm.

Fluidizing with PE-porös: Many dry bulk materials can be put into a fluid-like state by “fluidization”, in other words, passing air through them. This mobile state can be used for homogenizing or mixing, discharging or flow-conveying, drying or cooling, fluidized-bed sintering of powdered materials.

KIK activated-charcoal filter elements are a combination of adsorber and particle filters. The activated charcoal is filled into the space between an outer sheath and an inner tube, both made of PE-porös.
