Kisters - Water Velocity Radar Sensor
HyQuant V is KISTERS’ state-of-the-art non-contact surface velocity 60 GHz V-band Doppler radar sensor. It offers superior resolution and accuracy, with reduced power consumption, all at an appealing price point.
Kisters - Redback Current Meter
KISTERS’ Redback is a cup-type current meter for the measurement of water ?ow in open and closed waters to a ?ne degree of accuracy and repeatability. This is due to its advanced contact switching system and interchangeable bucket system that provides trouble free operation.
Kisters - Miniature Current Meter
The OSS-PC1 miniature current meter is a ?eld-proven instrument for measuring the velocity of water in shallow open and closed channels. It is used for point measurements of ?ow velocities on the water surface or in vertical pro?les down to the riverbed at ?ow speeds of 0.025 m/s to 6 m/s.
Kisters - Universal Current Meter
The OSSB1 universal current meter is a field-proven instrument for measuring the velocity of water in open and closed channels. It is used for point measurement of flow velocity in vertical profiles and covers a flow velocity range from 0.025 to 10 metres per second.
Kisters - Towing System for Cableways
The Cable Fox Model (CFX) is KISTERS latest towing system for deployment of an ADCP or radar device for manual discharge measurement on a cableway.
Kisters - Flying Fox Mobile Towing System
The Flying Fox is a portable towing and positioning system with built-in electric motor and remote control. It moves remote-controlled over a span of rope transversely to the flow axis and pulls a measuring device – e.g. an ADCP boat – for cross-section measurement through the river, and positions the device exactly at the measuring point.
Kisters - Cableway Systems
KISTERS’ cableway system Hornet Plus has been developed to perform stream discharge measurements from fixed cableways. The Hornet Plus uses an Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) or mechanical current meter attached to a suitable gauging weight to measure discharge. It features an advanced hoist that measures depth, angle of drift and current meter counts, and sends the information to the remote control.
Kisters - Cableways
For short to medium term gauging studies, the Riverina and Barossa Winches can be quickly mounted on the operating side support post, the discharge measurements taken and the winch packed up and moved to the next site. For permanent or long-term installations, the winch is generally located in a hut.
Kisters - Manual Double Drum Winch
KISTERS’ Barossa winch is a hand-operated double drum winch capable of handling gauging weights up to 70 kg (154 lb). The design shows two main advantages: Firstly, it enables the operator to change from sounding mode to traversing mode very quickly by engaging the drive gears on each drum. Secondly, the double drum concept eases traversing, as the forces exerted by the gauging weight are largely cancelled out. The winch can be used on small travellerways up to 60 m (200 ft) span.
Kisters - Manual Double Drum Winch
KISTERS’ double drum traveller DDT1000 Riverina Winch is a hand-operated double drum winch capable of handling gauging weights up to 110 kg (242 lb). The design offers these advantages:
