Kooltronic was founded in 1956 to address the unique cooling needs of the emerging electronics, computer, and telecommunication industries. Our company developed the first air conditioners and heat exchangers for sealed enclosures. Since then, Kooltronic has evolved into the industry leader, specializing in the innovative design and production of forced ventilation and closed-loop cooling for various types of enclosures. Kooltronic continues to lead today by applying the latest technology to the protection of heat-sensitive processes and electronic equipment in a variety of industries, such as Kiosks, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Industrial Manufacturing, Hazardous Locations, Transportation, and Water Treatment.

In most cases, a standard Kooltronic cooling product (or modification thereof) will provide the answer. If Kooltronic’s standard product offering does not meet your requirements, our team of in-house design engineers will gladly collaborate with you to develop a custom cooling solution tailored to your unique equipment or process cooling specifications. Kooltronic is uniquely qualified to manage all phases of enclosure cooling system development and manufacturing — from fans and blowers to closed-loop, compressor-based refrigeration systems — using our proven Custom Cooling Design Process. Our collaborative process includes regular customer-friendly touchpoints, detailed documentation, schedules, electronic design and file sharing, rapid prototyping, and dedicated program management.

Our Production Facility

Kooltronic’s 170,000 sq. ft. facility is a modern plant and office complex on 100 acres in Pennington, N.J. Pictured above, Kooltronic`s rooftop solar panel array and canopy system totals approximately 3,900 solar panels working to generate electricity for the facility. This accounts for 90% of the energy requirements on a given day. From this facility, our team designs, develops, tests, and manufactures our wide range of cooling products, allowing us a level of self-sufficiency and control over the manufacturing process that is unique in the industry.

Computer-aided design and development keeps Kooltronic on the leading-edge of the cooling industry. Our Manufacturing Department features the latest advancements in automation technology and safety testing, such as: automated sheet metal fabrication, wire assembly, tube forming, laser welding, mass spectrometry leak testing, and refrigerant flow testing. These investments ensure precise and reliable production to help meet the highest quality standards. Our facility also contains modern on-site custom painting capabilities and a full environmental testing lab which, as an additional service, can be available for customer use. Having all these functions under one roof leads to the efficiency and excellence for which Kooltronic has become known.

Quality Assurance

In order to assure stringent adherence to the highest quality standards, we employ the latest computer-controlled manufacturing practices and Quality Control procedures. Every unit is run and carefully tested to verify performance to specifications. Kooltronic has been granted ISO 9001:2015 certification by DQS, Inc. and has achieved sole source and Certified Vendor status with several leading U.S. corporations. Research & Development

As a company mission we have undertaken a continuing effort to produce new and innovative enclosure cooling products. At the same time, we continue to improve upon existing product lines to anticipate and satisfy the changing needs of the many industries Kooltronic serves. This website includes recently developed thermal management products as well as flagship and legacy products. Research and Development is an ongoing process, with new products, manufacturing upgrades, and testing enhancements announced periodically.
