Kore - Model PTR 3C - PTR-TOF-MS - Mass Spectrometer
Kore Technology designed the world’s first time-of-flight mass spectrometer to couple to a proton transfer reactor back in 2002, and we have continued our innovation since. Our latest development is the PTR 3c. The Compact PTR 3c is a new soft chemical ionisation tool for sensitive analysis of VOCs in ambient air. Using soft chemical ionisation, the time of flight mass spectrometer can monitor all masses in parallel, allowing the maximum amount of information to be collected. The Kore PTR 3c has been developed to be transportable and can be taken on-site (mains power required), with full computer control of instrument parameters.
Kore - Model PTR 2e PTR-TOF-MS - Mass Spectrometer
Kore Technology designed the world’s first time-of-flight mass spectrometer to couple to a proton transfer reactor back in 2002, and we have continued our innovation since. We are pleased to present our larger, higher performance PTR-TOF-MS instrument, the PTR 2e.
Kore - Model MS-200 - Electron Ionisation Mass Spectrometer
Kore is excited to present the MS-200: a portable, battery-powered electron ionisation mass spectrometer for gas analysis – entirely contained in a suitcase. The MS-200 transports the advantages of mass spectrometry – good specificity for the identification of unknowns, versatility, accuracy and sensitivity – from the laboratory into the field. The MS-200’s membrane inlet concentrator allows a wide range of gases to be identified and measured from the low ppb range up to percent levels.
Kore - Model EI-TOF-MS - Compact Time-of-Flight Mass Analyser
The Kore compact EI-TOFMS is a modular time-of–flight mass analyser that is available in various forms including a bench-top version (shown) or in transportable versions. It provides rapid and sensitive gas analysis for production and research applications. The compact EI-TOFMS`s ease of operation and ability to produce stable long-term measurements of the constituents of gases at pressures from millibars to 10 bars makes the equipment well suited to process monitoring as well as catalysis studies and reaction kinetics research.
Kore SurfaceSeer - Model S TOF-SIMS - High Sensitivity Surface Analysis
Understanding surface chemistry is no longer limited to university research labs, but is now increasingly important to many areas of mass-production; even a simple crisp packet is a highly engineered material system with multiple layers having different functions. Surface science instruments have typically been very expensive and require knowledgeable staff to operate them and interpret the data. This meant acquisition of surface science instruments in industry has been mainly confined to the large central research labs of major companies.
Kore SurfaceSeer - Model I TOF-SIMS - Surface Analysis With Imaging and Chemical Mapping System
The SurfaceSeer I is a high sensitivity TOF-SIMS for imaging and chemical mapping of insulating and conducting surfaces. The SurfaceSeer I is ideal for investigating the chemistry of surfaces and is equally at home in R&D as well as industrial quality control applications. The SurfaceSeer I uses the same TOF-MS technology as the SurfaceSeer S, but is fitted with a high brightness high spatial resolution 25 kV liquid metal ion gun (LMIG) as the primary ion source. Additional computer control allows the gun to be scanned during the mass spectral acquisition so that chemical images, or maps, may be collected. A secondary electron detector is also provided for tuning of the primary beam.
Kore - Model HR EI-TOF-MS - High Mass Resolution Electron Ionisation
The Kore high mass resolution electron ionisation time-of-flight mass analyser (HR EI-TOF-MS) is designed for analysis of process gases for production and research applications. The HR EI-TOF-MS’s ability to quantitatively analyse inorganic gases as well as identify and analyse volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at pressures from millibar to 10 bar makes the equipment well suited to process monitoring as well as catalysis studies and combustion or pyrolysis reaction research. The 19 inch rack-mounted instrument has anti-vibration suspension for easy and safe transportation between different sites.
Kore - Model 4GHZ - Advanced Time-to-Digital Converter System
Our most advanced timing electronics yet, the Kore 4GHz time-to-digital converter (TDC) is a compact, bench-top timing unit designed to record a fast stream of event times relative to a single start event. It performs this task with a timing resolution of 0.25 ns with minimal dead time, high data rates and the ability to repeat the experiment at very high repetition rates. These features make the unit ideal for use in Time-of-Flight (TOF) mass spectrometry applications. In such an application, the unit issues or receives a cycle start signal at pre-set intervals and waits to receive timing pulses from an ion detector. The pulse times are recorded, buffered and streamed to the PC via a standard USB 2.0 serial interface. Here the standard driver software may process them to spectra ‘live’, or stream them to the hard disk for more flexible processing options.
