Cetamine - Technology Next Generation Boiler Water Treatment in Food & Beverage Industry

Water is a key resource in the food & beverage industry. Steam is generated in boiler systems and used for food processing with either direct or indirect contact to food. In this sensitive industry high steam purity is essential to assure the required product quality. On the other hand, safe and efficient boiler operation is another basic requirement to assure long term protection against corrosion and to avoid system failures.

Kurita - ACF Technology For Preventing Fouling and Corrosion

Ammonium salt fouling is an omnipresent threat in oil refineries. It may lead to insecure operational conditions with high production losses. Salt deposition is frequently detected in fluid catalytic cracking main fractionator columns. Higher chloride concentrations in residue feedstocks can initiate ammonium salt fouling. Low main fractionator top temperatures of fluid catalytic cracking units will increase the fouling risk. Negative impacts are increased pressure drop, flooding of the top section and production losses. Heat recovery is essential at process units, which are operated with reactors. Typical process units, where ammonium salt fouling or corrosion occurs are hydrotreaters, hydrocrackers and catalytic reformers. Feed/effluent exchangers of hydroprocessing units and the stabiliser columns are equally affected.

Kurita Cetamine - Comprehensive and Innovative Technology for Boiler Water Treatment

Kurita`s innovative and patented Cetamine® Technology has been developed for complete protection of steam generators, hot water boilers and closed systems. The Cetamine® Technology is based on surface-active film-forming amines for the formation of a hydrophobic protective film on surfaces in the whole system. This treatment program is frequently applied in low-pressure shell boilers and medium to high-pressure water-tube boilers in all types of industry.

Kurita - Cooling Water Reclamation

Today, we face increasingly serious water-related challenges on a global scale. This includes water shortages due to uneven distribution, water pollution associated with industrial development and depletion of groundwater. To improve this situation, Kurita Group actively supports the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). Based on the social issues outlined in the SDGs, Kurita Group aims to contribute in its business field – “water and environment” – and provides its customers with solutions on the themes of “saving water”, “saving energy” and “reducing waste.” Our vision and goal of a water recycling world are to recycle water completely.

Kurita Corrsave - Corrosion Inhibitor

Kurita in his continuous commitment for sustainable treatments has developed Corrsave 100, an Innovative new molecule that provides corrosion inhibition & hardness stabilization for water systems with special focus on treatments where low P (Phosphorous) and biodegradability is a demand.

Kurita Dilurit - Biofilm and Legionella Control System

Microbiology, biofilm, Legionella, Pseudomonas are sources for several problems in water systems and therefore of main concern in the industry. A system not properly controlled can lead to high economic losses and have a direct impact on the health of the population.

Kurita - Ammonium Salt Dissolving Technology

This technology is an extensive chemical treatment program with different components. The very strong organic amine based Kurita DMax products react with ammonium salts or very corrosive hydrochloric acid (HCl) by forming liquid reaction products with low corrosion potential. It prevents salt formation with unwanted precipitation or differential pressure increase of the top section of distillation columns. Kurita DMax products are able to fully dissolve ammonium salt based deposits into the process stream. This offers a curative treatment by removing salt deposits or preventing them from forming again later.

DReeM Polymer - Silica and Hardness Removal Polymer for Steam Generators and Boiler Systems

DReeM Polymer is Kurita’s awarded Dispersion Removal effect Management Polymer for steam generators and boiler systems. The multi-functional properties of DReeM Polymer keep heated surfaces in boiler systems free of scale and remove existing hardness and silica deposits from system surfaces during normal boiler operation. Clean heat transfer surfaces will directly improve boiler efficiency leading to energy savings and a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.

Kurita Gilufix - Paper Manufacturing Sticky Treatment

The European Paper Industry has the leading role in utilizing wastepaper as a raw material. Some paper grades like Packaging Papers, Newsprint and sometimes Tissue are produced with 100 % recycled fibre material. Of course, the utilization of recycled fibre material in the paper manufacturing process causes several undesired inconveniences, the biggest one of them are the stickies. The stickies are how is called the presence of tacky materials in wastewater and creates deposits in the paper machine circuits which could negatively affect the paper quality or lead to tremendous production losses through cleaning downtimes.

Kurita Gilunal - Sustainable Bonding for Starchy and Dextrin Containing Adhesive Systems

Boron acid were still up four years ago as an indispensable additive for adhesive glues and for various industrial applications. When in 2011 Boron and its derivate were included in the candidate list SVHC (substances of very high concern) by ECHA as cmr-substances the manufacture and winding of cardboard cores and paper tubes and related industries faced a big challenge. With Gilunal A as boron free stabilizing agent in starchy and dextrin glue formulations, Kurita secures the profitability and utilization of conventional technical procedures.
