Leilac

Leilac was born from environmental technology company, Calix to solve one of humanity’s greatest global challenges: decarbonising cement and lime to accelerate the transition to a carbon neutral world. Today, Leilac has been formed to rapidly commercialise and deploy the Leilac technology. It seeks to set the benchmark for the sustainable decarbonisation of cement and lime, with new carbon abatement projects in development across the globe. Its retrofittable modular design is being developed to scale to capture all of the unavoidable process emissions from any plant, while its potential to operate on a variety of energy sources – including electricity and alternative fuels – provides flexible and economical pathways to a carbon neutral world.
