Since its invention at the start of the 18th Century, biological wastewater treatment processes have been emerged as the most economical and sustainable wastewater management tools for the treatment of wastewater containing organic/inorganic biodegradable pollutants in it. Present biological wastewater treatment processes are intensified engineered technologies based on natural “self purification” process utilized by nature for the biochemical conversion of pollutants to less harmful forms. These processes utilize naturally occurring micro organisms under different environmental conditions for the break down of pollutants present in the wastewater.

Based on our problem analysis and extensive data collection, keeping in mind the treatment goals and final treated water quality requirement, We establish a conceptual process design which incorporates various unit operations, physico-chemical process, biological treatment step, secondary clarification unit operations and if required We also incorporate Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) as part of our conceptual process train. While designing the process our key focus is not only to achieve the treatment goals but to achieve them in the most economical, sustainable and manageable manner so that the long term operation and maintenance of the process becomes an act of value addition to the client rather than burden on their pocket.

Once pilot testing and experimentation phase has confirmed the process concept and outcome, We utilize the data collected during pilot testing to establish design parameters for engineering the proposed process scheme. We finally then penned down the complete basic engineering package which includes detailed, site specific engineering of each component required for the successful implementation of the proposed process.
