High quality Quicklime available in different granulometries. Sorbacal Q is usually sold as a milled product – 0-90µ.

Sorbacal C is a range of different granulometry of ground and milled high purity calcium carbonate. Combined with very efficient logistic solutions, Sorbacal C is the cost –effective limestone reagent for wet scrubbers and fluidised bed boilers.

Sorbacal H is a high quality slaked lime (Ca(OH)2) designed for the neutralisation of acidic pollutants. It appears as a white, dry, ready-to-use powder. H is used directly in dry processes with or without recycling.

Sorbacal^® SP is an enhanced hydrated lime especially designed for DSI applications. Its specific surface area of typically 40 m²/g (BET) is two times higher than standard hydrated lime, and its porous volume is typically 0.20 cm³/g (BJH), compared to 0.08 cm³/g for standard hydrated lime. These qualities make the material significantly more effective for acid gas removal than standard hydrates. The particle size of Sorbacal^® SP is designed for optimal reactivity, flow ability and handling.

Sorbacal HSH is a calcium hydroxide specifically developed for the single-pass dry flue gas treatment. It differs from Sorbacal H with a higher specific surface area (SSA): 15-18 m²/g for Sorbacal H and 25 m²/g for Sorbacal HSH. Sorbacal HSH was developed for the specifications of the Brazilian market and is produced in Brazil today.

Sorbacal G is a granular calcic reagent specifically designed for fixed bed reactors. It is mostly efficient in the neutralisation of HF, SO3 and HCl.

Lime milk is a suspension of hydrated lime in water. This clean and safe product offers an economic solution because of its low cost and high alkaline content.

Milk of lime also called lime slurry or milk of lime. The quality and reactivity of Milk of Lime depend on the characteristics of the lime and water quality, but is also dependent on the slaking process.
