The design of the Gealog RS485 water temperature sensor incorporates Logotronic`s many years of experience. The precision NTC thermistor used is in a tube with a diameter of only 2.2 mm and therefore reacts to changes in water temperature within a few seconds. A robust plastic protective basket prevents mechanical damage to the temperature sensor. As with all Logotronic products, the high-quality workmanship and technical design ensures use for many years with minimal costs of ownership.

The sensor requires extremely little energy and can therefore also be operated with self-sufficient power supplies. When operating with the Gealog ftp module IoT, even the supply only with battery pack is possible for many months.

The Gealog micro data logger is used wherever reliable off-line recording of water level and water temperature is required. It can be installed in groundwater probes 2 inches in diameter and larger. The water level is measured by a high-precision pressure sensor, the water temperature by means of a built-in temperature sensor.
