LUM develops liquid particle counters and particle sizers, emulsion, suspension, dispersion stability, particle size analyzers, concentrated dispersion analyzers, and dispersion shelf-life prediction analyzers. LUM also offers an adhesion analyzer for advanced research adhesion and cohesion applications. The visionary, founder, and inventor behind LUM and all its products is Professor Dr. Dietmar Lerche (or simply Dietmar, as his family, friends, employees, colleagues, and clients call him). Dietmar started LUM GmbH in the early ‘90s in a small university laboratory in Berlin, Germany. Since then, LUM has become known worldwide for its unique and one-of-a-kind product offerings and solutions.
