Water Sorbents
M² Polymer Waste Lock - Waste Solidification Polymer
Waste Lock® 770 is a solid, granular Superabsorbent Polymer (SAP). This cross-linked polyacrylate material swells and absorbs many times its weight in aqueous solutions. Waste Lock® 770 polymers have been engineered to absorb under pressure and have properties that make it ideally suited for the absorption and solidification of low level radioactive waste (LLRW) and other types of industrial waste solidification & stabilization applications.
M² Polymer Waste Lock - Water Absorbent Co-Polymer
These forms of the well-known Waste Lock® Superabsorbent Polymers are a co-polymer blend of Acrylate and Acrylamide. They are designed to withstand highly salty (ionic) conditions better than many acrylate homo-polymer Super Absorbents.
M² Polymer Waste Lock - Laminated Spill Absorbent Fabric Rolls
Laminated spill absorbent fabric rolls for absorbing free liquids or condensate in drums, boxes, trays or inter-modal containers. These super absorbent fabric rolls can be used in a variety of industries.
M² Polymer Waste Lock - Leak and Spill Absorbent Socks
M² Polymer Technologies offers several styles of high-performance, custom superabsorbent polymer socks to meet nearly any need and any technical specification. Beside the traditional “Sausage Style” sock, we offer two, unique leak & spill absorbent sock alternatives — The “Skinny Sock” and the “Teabag”.
M² Polymer MediSAP - Super Absorbent Polymers for Medical Waste
The properties of blood and medical waste are complicated, and it is often difficult to effectively bind these types of liquids due to high viscosities and the frequent presence of proteinaceous matter. The MediSAP™ superabsorbent polymers are prepared by a unique chemical process of emulsion polymerization whereby the final product is made of tiny spherical particles that — when viewed under an SEM microscope — contain a myriad of channels. These channels provide a large particulate void volume and a means by which water and large molecules can be rapidly absorbed.
Oil Sorbents
M² Polymer TOTALSORB - Oil Absorbent Powder and Granules
TOTALSORB® is a universal granular material that absorbs large quantities of water, oil and organic wastes such as gasoline, diesel fuel and chlorinated hydrocarbons. Our oil absorbent powder & granules are also effective on strong acids and alkaline wastes. This absorbent material is excellent for store spill response applications and for automotive crash response.
M² Polymer Organolock - Organic Contaminate Absorbent Block Polymer
Organolock® N-65 block polymer is a new generation co-polymer that is highly effective at absorbing organic waste contaminants and certain oils. This polymer product can also be used as an absorbent for flammable liquids, including gasoline, kerosene and some oils.
Novelty Polymers
M2 Polymer polymerSNOW - Novelty Polymers
This special and amazing version of a super absorbent polymer expands 4-5 times in volume when exposed to water and looks just like real snow! It is safe, non-toxic and can be regenerated over and over again. Once it starts to dry out, simply spray water on with a mister bottle and the “Snow” will grow again and again! This specialty polymer was originally developed in the 1980’s for disposable hygiene applications like baby diapers and feminine hygiene products. The product is made of the same type of polymers commonly found in disposable diapers, but polymerSNOW uses a special surface cross-linking system that causes the product to expand when in contact with water resulting in instant artificial snow. It gets fluffy and really does look like snow!
M2 Polymer - Neck Cooler Ties & Water Absorbing Crystals
These large grain Super Absorbent Polymer water crystals hold about 400-times their weight in water and can be sewn into neck cooler ties, headbands and cooling vests. Their capacity to cool helps you beat the heat!

M2 Polymer - Cross Linked Sodium Polyacrylate
Sodium polyacrylate is a widely used polymer with many different applications. It is used in laundry detergents as a sequestering agent to bind elements in hard water such as Calcium & Magnesium so that the surfactants work better and clothes get cleaner. At the right molecular weight, it makes sticky solutions that can be sprayed on dirt roads for dust control. With special treatment and at very low concentrations (1/4 – 1/2 %), it becomes a “carbomer” that makes a clear, sodium polyacrylate gel for hair care and personal care products.
