Using cutting edge technology and the latest innovative procedures MACC employ the following assets to complete the mine clearing in a safe, cost effective manner: Specialist Mine Detection Dog (K9) teams. Specialist mechanical clearance equipment including ploughs, flails and crushers. Mine clearance (Deminer) teams recruited from experience international staff and the locally trained population.

Mine Risk Education - MRE

MACC International Ltd provides Mine Risk Education (MRE) to local populations affected by Landmines and other Explosive Remnants of War (ERW). Using United Nations standards and guidelines (UN-IMAS) the Mine Risk Education programmes and campaigns are designed to assist in the overall clearance of Landmines and ERW and have proven to be an exceptionally efficient way to: Provide the local population with sufficient education to effectively reduce casualties within the community when faced with the proximity of a minefield. To develop a culture of safety through a sympathetic approach to the needs of the community. Empower local populations to continue the mine risk education within their community under their own arrangements.
