The MacLean MDA Excavator Rock Drills are a valuable addition to your fleet. From quarrying operations, to secondary breaking, to construction drilling the MDA drill will do it all. Mounted on a Mini-Excavator or Tractor Loader Backhoe the MDA drill is a value based unit.

Designed to alleviate the negative aspects of hand held drilling and to improve drilling productivity, the Long Tom rig was the original MacLean equipment innovation for the hard rock mining industry.  Developed and marketed in the early 1970s, the drill rig has had almost four decades of underground application under its belt, and remains in demand due to its simplicity and cost effectiveness.

The engineering design team at MacLean Engineering spent several years developing the idea of a zero-waste solution for aerosol and high-pressure propellant containers. The technology needed to have the capacity to recycle bulk amounts of cans efficiently, while keeping the MacLean standards of safety and quality. We are proud to announce we have achieved this goal through our HazPak system.
