MAE’s history begins in the late sixties when the company was mainly focused on producing machinery and components for the biggest Italian Man-Made fibers producers such as Montefibre, SNIA and ENI. In the following decades MAE’s experience progressively increased from the production of simple components to the more complex assemblies and complete units, entire lines and full complete plants. Consequently our design competences grew and today MAE can be considered a strong partner for any fiber producer willing to outsource the development of important portions of their facilities. Carbon Fiber PAN Precursor has now become MAE’s core business. We design and build complete plants for PAN Precursor with small production capacity (Lab Scale), medium capacity (Pilot Scale or Small Industrial Scale), and large capacity (Industrial Scale).
