MAE - Model S1SS - 1D Seismic Sensors for Seismic Monitoring, 4.5 Hz Frequency

Single component seismic sensor designed according to highest quality standard, with case for outdoor installation and maximum protection of internal components. It can be connected to Mae instruments for Seismic Monitoring and building continuous monitoring. Rapid and practical fixing due to fins with predetermined holes, in case of fixing on vertical walls it is possible to use L mounting bracket supplied together with sensor. Its connection to recording unit is ensured by Amphenol connector with tightening screw and IP67 resistance against weather agents.

Single component accelerometer sensor for structural and environmental seismic monitoring, accuracy of 1 V/g, housed in an aluminum IP-67 protection rate case with embedded fixing flaps; ideal for installation in hard environments, it is supplied with IP-67 12 male Amphenol connector with protective cap and orange polish PUR cable. Aluminum mounting bracket is supplied together with sensor, in order to allow installation both on horizontal and vertical surfaces.

3D surface sensor manufactured according to highest quality standard, 10 mm aluminum case which can ensure stable positioning of internal components, external oxidation for a finishing that facilitates cleaning after field use. This sensor can be connected to all Mae instruments related to Active Seismic, Passive Seismic and Seismic Monitoring categories. Levelling through bases regulation ferrules and level indication bubble. If used in country it is possible to replace adjustable bases with fixing tips (supplied). To facilitate transport and ensure maximum protection of the sensor it is possible to use transport handle, removable when necessary, and to connect protective cap so as to limit movement of internal components. In addition it is possible to purchase aluminum transport case (cod. VS3S) so as to store all accessories in the preformed vane and ensure sensor safety even during extreme transport conditions.

3 components Seismonitor is designed for seismological, engineering and scientific studies where a passive, low noise, short period triaxial sensor is required. Seismonitor contains three triaxially oriented, GS-1 low frequency seismometers installed in a single deployment container.

MAE - Model TOMOKIT - Seismic Tomography Kit on Structures

Kit for non-destructive structural investigations with seismic tomography for verification of quality preservation status of construction materials, ideal for: beams (wooden also), masonry walls, columns in stone material, masonry works with poor degree of material homogeneity, works of historical and cultural interest. This survey method is used to identify physical-geometrical anomalies inside structures or individual structural elements with a definitely higher resolution compared to other seismic prospecting methods; it creates an image of investigated object where all present anomalies will be reproduced. In particular, tomographic method allows to reproduce geometric distribution of the elements that constitute a specific section, starting from the analysis of radiations behavior across it.
