LiDAR Services

Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), also known as airborne laser mapping, is a continually maturing technology that is being readily adopted within the mapping community. It is a highly automated system combining GPS with an inertial navigation system and laser scanner. As a remote sensing tool, LiDAR is non-intrusive and can be operated in less than ideal weather conditions.

Imagery Services

Magnolia River utilizes the new large-format Intergraph DMC digital imaging sensor (Z/I DMC II 230). The DMC II 230 is the latest and most technologically advanced digital camera in the industry. This platform is a significant improvement over the first generation DMC and offers improved geometric accuracy and a larger photo footprint for improved efficiency in flight operations. Working with long-standing partners, Magnolia River can provide other digital imagery formats, such as the Leica ADS can MicroSoft UltraCam. We also have a long and rich history of aerial photo acquisition utilizing our RC-30 film-based platforms and medium-format digital cameras. This experience is critical in understanding and successfully adapting to the unique conditions that occur in aerial survey field work.
