TOUGH STUFF® Tank Heads are machined from solid PVC bar stock for maximum reliability in the field. Common applications include DI units, carbon filters and softeners. Tank heads are available in plastics other than PVC, including CPVC, polypropylene, Teflon and PVDF. Please contact your MATTSON/WITT sales representative to discuss custom sizes, configurations and materials.

TOUGH STUFF® Distributor Hubs are machined of solid PVC bar stock for maximum quality and durability. Standard hubs are stocked with side inlets drilled and tapped 90º perpendicular to the main piping thread. The side inlets Type A and Type B hubs are drilled and tapped at approximately a 13º angle. Side inlets angled upward place the hub and laterals assembly lower in the dish of a tank, utilizing more of the tank’s capacity. When ordering, please specify Type A, Type B or Standard hub.

TOUGH STUFF PVC Slotted Laterals are fabricated of high quality PVC pipe cut to length, slotted, welded and threaded in our plant. We have manufactured PVC laterals from our standard prints and to our customers’ specifications for almost 50 years.

TOUGH STUFF® Machined PVC Flow Controllers offer one-piece construction with replaceable FLO-ET buttons to control the flow rate. They cost less up front than conventional brass valve-type flow controls and because they require no maintenance or adjustments, they maximize cost saving over the life of your equipment. These Machined PVC Flow Controllers are completely tamper-proof, yet authorized personnel can easily alter them for increases or decreases in desired flow rate. Bodies are available in male x male, female x female, female x male and slip x slip configurations and ½", ¾", 1.0" and 2.0" NPT thread sizes. A wide range of FLO-ET button inserts are also offered to meet your exact application needs.

TOUGH STUFF® Brine Control Valves are considered by many professionals to be the best in the commercial/industrial water treatment industry. Since its introduction in 1957, our brine control valve has seen numerous improvements based on years of service in the field. Our expertise in plastics machining has contributed to its proven performance and longevity.

TOUGH STUFF® Molded Basket Riser Tubes are fabricated of high quality PVC pipe and sturdy ABS baskets. They are an economical alternative to TOUGH STUFF PVC Slotted Riser Tubes. Standard lengths are listed, but custom lengths under 60" are available at no additional charge. Please contact your MATTSON/WITT sales representative to discuss custom sizes and specify overall lengths when ordering.

TOUGH STUFF Slotted Riser Tubes are fabricated of high quality PVC pipe, slotted and plugged at one end. The opposite end is also available with either a chamfered slip connection or an MNPT adapter.
