Drilling Mud, Cuttings and Sludge Management: MAX provides solids management and pickup for oil and gas fields throughout the Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia area. We provide on-site solidification and stabilization services, as well as treatment and disposal at our facilities in Southwestern PA. MAX offers a complete line of liquid/solid separation and dewatering equipment as well as proprietary solidification reagents that absorb water-based and synthetic drilling fluid quickly and thoroughly.

MAX’s construction and remediation group performs both small- and large-scale site cleanup projects and environmental construction for the energy, industry and public sectors. From Brownfield and Superfund sites to oil and gas production facilities, manufacturing plants, firing ranges, historic fill projects and Department of Defense sites, MAX has a history of successful remediation solutions to meet corporate and regulatory clean-up requirements. Because we operate our own treatment and disposal facilities, MAX offers a broader range of options for off-site management of materials. Our facilities operate on flexible schedules and are permitted to receive high volumes of materials, which translates into rapid response and cost savings for our customers.

As one of the region’s first providers of hazardous waste treatment and disposal services, MAX maintains a tradition of safe, secure and reliable hazardous waste management for industry and government. Our Yukon plant is the only facility in Pennsylvania that offers RCRA Subtitle C permitted hazardous waste treatment and on-site commercial disposal of residual waste. MAX’s treatment storage and disposal facility (TSDF) is permitted to accept a wide range of materials from energy, construction, and manufacturing industries, as well as from hazardous waste site cleanups.
