Dredging and Pond Cleaning Services

MEI offers mobile hydraulic dredge units that allow us to transform solid and fibrous material into a manageable consistency with extremely high solid content for large volume production. We provide electric, air, diesel, or hydraulically driven sludge pumps to compliment any dredging, cleaning or transfer operation. Depending on material properties, our pumps are capable of transferring up to 5,000 gallons per minute of material. Our excavation equipment, filter presses, and mobile treatment units can handle any additional processing needs or perform mechanical removal to assist in the final disposal. Our experienced professionals will evaluate your situation and recommend an efficient, cost-effective solution to your dredging or pond cleaning challenge. We have the right equipment and the technical know-how to reduce any waste into a manageable, transferable form and we’ll transform your sludge-laden pond into usable space for future treatment options.

Site Remediation Services

MEI provides comprehensive environmental remediation field services. MEI routinely performs facility demolition, decontamination and closures, tank and pipe decontamination, underground storage tank removal, tank cleanings, mold removal, drum recovery and removals, installation of caps and covers, leachate collection systems, hazardous and residual waste removals, waste stabilization, sludge removals, impoundment closures, PCB decontamination and removals, Mercury cleanups, wastewater treatment and site specific techniques to provide complete waste management. Cleanout of clarifiers, digesters, grit chamber and other storage or process containers are services used by both the private and public sectors. Construction of impoundments, wastewater treatment facilities, including upgrades and expansions, truck cleaning facilities and other projects related to the management of waste are performed by MEI skilled craftsmen.

Mobile Treatment Services

Not every application requires massive equipment or extensive logistics. That’s why MEI offers on-site treatment services to meet the needs of smaller municipal, private and industrial clients to supplement or bypass their existing treatment systems. For scheduled shutdowns or emergencies, MEI can provide biological treatment systems, chemical addition and mixing units, clarifiers and sludge settling equipment, filtration units and oil/water separation equipment. This equipment can be provided with or without an operator.

High Flow Vacuum Transfer Services

Vacuum transfer is the best way to move materials continuously and expedite the removal of sludge without costly equipment shutdowns. MEI uses an aggressive fluid vacuum method to transfer materials at a rate up to 1,800 gallons per minute. High capacity and fast flow eliminate the double handling of waste materials. Ultrasonic sensors keep an eye on what’s happening all along the line and control the process for maximum efficiency. Specialized pump trailers, hoses, values and manifolds work with the wet or dry vacuum unit to ensure your process runs smoothly.
