Kacperek, as a Polish manufacturer of gearmotors, produces a series of MR worm gears, which can be freely modified adapting them to the clients` requirements. MR gears can be produced in standard versions (with output shaft, side flange, torque arm), but also in special versions upon customer`s request regardless of the quantity.

The drive axes are perpendicular to each other, which is why the gears are commonly called angular. Worm gears are used where it is necessary to change the direction of the drive by 90 degrees or the self-locking of the drive. Self-locking is a property of the gear that prevents it from being put into motion by the action of the torque on the output axle. It is assumed that the gear is self-locking from gear ratio 80. The higher the gear ratio, the better the self-locking.
