Kacperek - Model TM-025 -Worm Gear
The drive axes are perpendicular to each other, which is why the gears are commonly called angular. Worm gears are used where it is necessary to change the direction of the drive by 90 degrees or the self-locking of the drive. Self-locking is a property of the gear that prevents it from being put into motion by the action of the torque on the output axle. It is assumed that the gear is self-locking from gear ratio 80. The higher the gear ratio, the better the self-locking.
The worm gear is used to reduce the engine speed and increase the torque.
- Two elements work together in the worm gear:
- auger - drive side and
- scroll wheel - delivery side.
We offer TM worm gears in the mechanical size 25-150.
Bodies sizes 25-90 are made of aluminum alloy.
Bodies of sizes 110-150 are made of cast iron.
Available ratios of TM worm gears are from 5 to 100.
If we want to obtain higher gear ratios, it is necessary to connect two worm gears or a worm gear with a toothed adapter.
TM reducer accessories available:
- reaction arms,
- mounting flanges,
- output shafts: one and two-sided,
- covers of the output opening.
