MEMOS Membranes Modules Systems GmbH products

Our core competence is the production of especially stable ultra-filtration tubular membranes made of high-performance polymers (our product designation: MEMTUBE) on our own, modern production facilities with attention to very strict quality standards. Continuous monitoring of a large number of quality parameters during production guarantees the reliability of our membranes.

Our MEMCROSS membrane modules for crossflow filtration consist of durable, robust stainless steel module housings (MO-C) and inserted, replaceable membrane elements (ME-C). The basis for our MEMCROSS membrane elements (ME-C) are our self-manufactured tubular membranes (MEMTUBE-CROSS). These optimized and efficient tubular membranes are available with the inside diameter of 6, 8, 10, 12 or 24 mm. The tubular membranes, arranged in parallel and collected in bundles, are potted on both ends in epoxy resin. The compact MEMCROSS membrane elements (ME-C) are available in six different nominal diameters: C65 (2,5"), C80 (3"), C100 (4"), C150 (6"), C200 (8") and C250 (10").

Our MEMSUB membrane modules for submerged filtration consist of durable module housings made of stainless steel (MO-S) and replaceable membrane elements (ME-S). The basis for our membrane elements (ME-S) are our self-manufactured tubular membranes (MEMTUBE-SUB). In membrane elements (ME-S) our tubular membranes are arranged vertically with exterior applied membrane coating (MEMTUBE-SUB) and on the other end potted in a permeate collector. The permeate collectors have ventilation slits to achieve a reliable flow of the air/sludge mixture. The upper end of the tubular membrane is closed individually and the membrane ends can move freely. Blocking the membranes with fibers and sludge can thus be reliably avoided.

In close cooperation with our customers, we develop adapted systems for crossflow filtration. Based on the large variety of our MEMCROSS module types, we can realize individual concepts according to the customers needs. The implementation depends here on the dimensioning, the system design up to the recommendation for cleaning the membrane modules. Stable operating modes, high permeate performance and simple and effective cleaning options are the advantages of our MEMCROSS systems.

Our MEMSUB system is optimized for use of membrane filtration at low energy input. High-performance membranes, operationally reliable design and optimal airflow along the membrane surface guarantees a high degree of performance and long service life. Through the formation of module towers and intermittent ventilations, the specific energy use for the membrane filtration is significantly reduced. A back washing of the tubular membranes is possible with the MEMSUB systems and thus guarantees simple cleaning methods combined with a high permeate capacity.
