Met-Chem was established in 1956 as a manufacturer’s representative for liquid filtration equipment with an in-house sewing department to manufacture replacement filter bags, cloths, and media. This format was successful for almost 30 years; in 1985 after working for the company for 8 years, Wally Senney purchased it from the retiring owner. Wally vowed to grow the manufacturing through quality, service, and acquisition. Over the years, Met-Chem has acquired complementary companies to add to our group of process equipment and replacement parts suppliers.
