Meteor Communications (Europe) Ltd is an employee owned company, following a management buyout in 2007. Meteor Communications (Europe) was originally setup as a joint venture between Meteor Communications Corporation (MCC) and Pharos Marine (one of the worlds leading Maritime navigational aids companies).<br><br> The main focus of the company initially was to establish a Meteor Burst radio network across the United Kingdom (and surrounding waters). Many early projects involved the use of Meteor Burst radio in marine and offshore applications. Meteor have now moved on from this relatively narrow remit to become a full service supplier of communication solutions, using not only Meteor Burst radio but other communication channels.
