Meteotest has been working in the heart of Bern for 42 years. Meteotest was founded in 1981 - the year IBM launched the personal computer. This milestone in computer science made it possible at all for a private company to develop and sell data driven services and products in the areas of weather, climate and the environment. To this day, Meteotest has remained faithful to this digital business model: the collection, provision, analysis, presentation and interpretation of digital data continues to be our supply base. We are traditionally very familiar with Big Data and Data Science and today these skills are more relevant than ever. Our team consists of 40 scientists, engineers and computer scientists. We process orders from private and public companies and institutions in Switzerland and abroad.
