Seismic- Transmitters
Seismic Velocity Transmitters
The Metrix ST5484E is a self-contained, loop-powered seismic velocity transmitter that incorporates a piezo-electric accelerometer, signal integrator, RMS peak detector, and 4-20 mA signal conditioner into a single, robust package. The transmitter can be mounted directly on the machine case or bearing housing without need of any intervening signal conditioning equipment. Its 4-20 mA output signal is compatible with most industrial process control instrumentation such as PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems, allowing trending and/or alarming capabilities for a simple, economical vibration monitoring solution. The transmitter is also available in a 4-wire version where the extra two conductors provide direct access to the raw acceleration signal, facilitating easy connection to portable data collectors and analyzers.

Shakers
Deluxe - Hardy Shaker
This top-of-the-line Hardy shaker includes more operational functions. In manual mode, the vibration test level and test frequency can be set from 10 Hz to 10,000 Hz. In sensitivity mode, the HI 803 not only vibrates the transducer being tested, but also measures its output and calculates its output sensitivity. A built-in display reads the output sensitivity, which can be stored in memory. Complete testing sequences and data can be stored in memory for each tested sensor, and a built-in printer logs data on the spot or stores it for later. An RS232 port and data transfer program are standard, and ASCI II test data files are easily transferred to a computer.

Proximity- Digital Proximity System
3-Wire Driver
The Metrix MX2033 combines the performance of a fully API 670-compliant eddy-current proximity measurement system with the flexibility of digital configurability. For the first time, users can configure their transducer system in the field using a custom field-generated curve as well as factory pre-configured calibrations for over 20 target materials, a variety of probe tip diameters, manufacturers, extension cable lengths, and linear ranges. Product aprox. weight: 247 g (8.7 oz)
Switches- Electronic
Economical Switch
The electronic switch utilizes a solid state crystal accelerometer which provides an electrical output when it is deformed by the vibration forces. The output is electronically converted to a signal proportional to velocity. This signal is compared with a preset limit and triggers a solid state relay if the limit is exceeded. There are no moving parts in the 440 vibration switches except when configured with mechanical relays.

General Purpose Accelerometer
General purpose accelerometer that meets API 670 requirements. Designed for use on a wide variety of machine types with its broad frequency response of 0.5 to 10 kHz (+/- 3dB), 50g range, and mounted resonance of 13 kHz. A built-in amplifier provides an industry-standard 100mV/g low-impedance, constant-current output that is compatible with vibration monitoring systems, electronic switches, and 4-20mA signal conditioners. The sensor consists of a temperature-stabilized piezo-electric core and an amplifier, packaged together in a 316 stainless steel case that is electrically isolated from the sensing circuit. A choice of mounting studs is available. Consult the product datasheet for available hazardous area approvals.
