Michell - Portable Dew-Point Tester

Manual hydrocarbon and water dew-point tester for natural gas. CDP301 portable HCDP tester uses the chilled mirror principle for both hydrocarbon and water dew point measurements and is designed to follow the requirements as described in ASTM D1142. Based on the visual manual method of observing the formation of condensate, the CDP301 uses a high-definition visual image to assist users and allows image capture and reliable logging of measurements for later review.

The Condumax II hydrocarbon and water dew-point analyzer provides continuous, automatic measurements of these two critical parameters of natural gas quality. The QMA601 Process Moisture Analyzer provides highly reliable, fast and accurate measurement of moisture content in a wide variety of carrier gases. It has a lower detection limit of 0.1 ppmV with reliable accuracy at sub-ppm trace moisture levels. Using Michell’s latest developments in Quartz Crystal Microbalance technology the analyzer measures moisture levels effectively even in gases with changing background compositions. It is fully certified for use in hazardous areas. The QMA601 requires only minimal routine maintenance to ensure low cost of ownership. The DCS system is a complete rack-mounted calibration station capable of producing a flow of air (or nitrogen) at a pre-specified range of dew-point temperatures from a minimum of -100°C (-148°F) to a maximum of +20°C (+68°F). Through customization the DCS system can be PC controlled for automated calibration sequences or manually operated at pre-determined dew-point set points. When ordering this system, simply specify the required operating range, and Michell Instruments will determine the most economical way to construct your calibration system.

Michell - Dryers for Humidity Calibration Systems

Pressure Swing dryers provide a source of very dry compressed air for use as a zero gas in humidity calibration systems, or for general laboratory applications. The Michell PSD Series Pressure Swing Dryers use two columns filled with 4Å molecular sieve desiccant, which are used alternately on a two-minute switching cycle. The PSD dryers are designed to operate continuously, using a small proportion of the dried air, to regenerate the offline column - generally giving desiccant life in excess of five years. This type of heatless regeneration also uses significantly less energy than a `heated` type of dryer.

A high-speed portable dew-point hygrometer for rapid spot-check measurements of dew point or moisture content in compressed air, natural gas, high voltage switchgear quench gas and many other applications. The sensor responds quickly to changes in moisture whether from dry to wet or wet to dry. This means there is no need to wait between measurements, allowing operators to make more measurements in a day. The general purpose MDM300 is suitable for safe area use, while the intrinsically safe MDM300 I.S. has global hazardous area approval from ATEX, IECEx, cQPSus and EAC Ex and is able to measure moisture in flammable gases such as natural gas or bio-gas.
