The MBE Bubble Column Array PBR features fourteen 800 mL glass column reactors, allowing for multiple simultaneous experimental conditions. The simplicity of the design allows for manageable operations and the large volumes allow for dry weight measurements. The energy efficient LED has a maximum light intensity of 1,600 μmol/m²-s, dispersed evenly across the width of the array for reproducible experiments. An integrated temperature controlled water bath allows for a wide range of culture temperatures (8-34°C).

Small 0.5 m2 raceways intended for inoculation culture development or programs just getting starting in algae research. Stands are elevated to allow for easy gravity draining to downstream processes. This smaller design allows you to operate more raceways efficiently and enables duplicate and triplicate experiments.

The new RW0.5i is a simplified version of the RW0.5 that uses impeller mixers instead of paddle wheels. The impellers provide an adjustable speed mixing that integrates directly into the control system. The RW0.5i uses the same raceways, stand, and accessories as the standard RW0.5 but eliminates the paddles, motor, and VFD.

This first-of-a-kind prefabricated Algae Raceway featuring APIAC technology is intended for medium to large-scale operations.  Take the guesswork out of building your own algae raceways with these patent-pending modular algae ponds, ranging in size from 22 to 101 m² (6.5 to 30 m³).  Don`t waste your time designing from scratch, sourcing the materials from countless vendors, then dealing with complicated custom installations. RW22-RW101 sizes are sold as complete and integrated systems including containment walls, liner, paddle wheels, and optional control systems.  Installation is quick and painless with no specialty labor or contractors needed. The only site requirements are level, compacted ground and a 110-230 VAC, 50-60Hz power source.

The largest pre-designed algae raceways that MBE provides have an area of 1,000, 2,000, and 4,000-m2.. These ponds utilize earthen -type construction and a new composite paddle wheel.

Assemble these lightweight paddle wheels with hand tools yourself with our easy to follow assembly guide, or optionally with our skilled on-site installation team. We engineer these paddle wheels with tight clearances to minimize backflow for optimal mixing efficiency.

Control pH with our Neptune Apex control system. CO2 dosing is automated with adjustable set points. pH electrodes are standard BNC type connections which allow for affordable routine replacement. All controls are custom installed and pre-programmed in a non-metallic weather-proof enclosure. The large size of the enclosure allows for multiple control modules and motor controllers to share a single enclosure reducing the price. The enclosures come standard with a filtered-fan cooling system. Wall mounting hardware is supplied standard or the enclosure can be mounted directly to any paddle wheel frame for an RW22-101.
