microTec Laborgeräte GmbH is located in Walldorf/Baden, along with GANTER Werkzeug- and Maschinenbau GmbH. The development of a rotary microtome of our own design began in 1992 and series production was launched in 1993 under the name of the Ganter company. A year thereafter, GANTER GmbH founded a subsidiary, `microTec Laborgeräte GmbH`, in order to separate the sale of products. In 2000, the construction of a new administration building followed and, a year later, an extension was built onto the company’s production building to facilitate further expansion.
