Model MI.SO-1001 - Compaction Test Rammer
Soil compaction is a fundamental requirement for the construction of earth fill for dams, reservoirs, canal embankments, highways, railways and runways. The relationship between soil moisture content and compacted dry density is very useful for deciding construction specifications and quality control of compacted earth fill. While designing an earth or earth retaining structure, the strength and deformation behaviour of soil is evaluated by testing soil specimen compacted to the density as would be achieved during construction. The construction quality control is essentially to check the density of compacted soil achieved in the field, thereby checking its strength.

Model MI.SO-1003D - Universal Automatic Compactor, Digital
It is a motor driven mechanical compactor useful for soil compaction. Two sets of Rammers are provided The rammer assembly is provided with a ratchet and pawl arrangement to lift it from the top of the soil layer. When the rammer reaches the required height the pawl release the rammer which falls freely on soil surface. An automatic blow counter fitted to the compactor is used to set the number of blows. The base plate of the specimen mould is to be fitted to the rotating base plate of the instrument which marks 1/5` revolution per stroke. The equipment is suitable for operation on 230 V, 50 Cycles, Single Phase, A.C. supply .Meets:- ASTM D 558, BS 1377-4.Note: - Only one mould is provided with the machines.

For determining the scratch hardness of ready mixed paints and enamels, which is the minimum load required to produce a scratch showing the bare metal surface of the painted panel. The apparatus consists of a 1mm dia hemispherical stainless steel needle, fixed to a platform of a counter- balanced rod, which is assembled on a grooved platform. A rack moves through the groove, to which a painted panel can be clamped. An indicator lamp is provided to indicate the metal contact if the Needle penetrates the paint surface to make contact with the metal. Complete with 1 kg weight. Tile Testing Instruments
Model MI.TI-1001D - Tile Abrasion Testing Machine
The tile sample is pressed under a specified load against a grinding path, strewn evenly with an abrasive powder, revolving at the rate of 30 ± 1 rpm. At the end of 100 revolutions of the disc, the second parallel side of the tile is subjected to wear for an equal number of revolutions of the disc. The wear of the tile is measured using thickness-measuring device (which is supplied at extra cost).
Model MI.TI-1002 - Tile Flexure Strength Testing Machine
This is a double lever (leverage 1:12) loading machine and the load is applied by flow of lead shots, which automatically stops when the sample breaks. The load is applied at rate of 450 to 550 N/minute ( 45 to 55 kg minute) or 2000 N/minute (200 Kg/minute) and the accuracy of load indication is ± 2%. The sample is mounted between rollers 40 mm dia or12 mm dia. Bearing Rollers can be placed at center distance of 150 mm, 200 mm, 250mm or 270mm as the case may be.
