Upgrades Services

As part of the business performance guarantees, Mission offers both technology and obsolescence guarantees. From time to time cellular carriers transition their network architecture to newer technologies that require the cellular radio in remote terminal units (RTUs) to be replaced. Mission will proactively contact customer organizations and arrange for the newer technology be delivered to the site at no charge. Radio upgrades generally take about ten minutes to complete.

Mission Adds Rainfall Monitoring Services

Mission remote terminal units (RTUs) can connect to industry-standard rainfall tipping buckets and report rainfall totals. Monitor rainfall events and totals in real-time and gain precious minutes to prepare for floods and avoid spills. Graph rainfall on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to analyze wet weather events in great detail. Rainfall data can be exported to Excel spread sheets, CSV files, or can be fed into existing SCADA systems via the Mission OPC software link.

Mission Control Services

Security: The Mission central computer facility is located at Edeltacom`s hosting site in Atlanta, Georgia, which supplies the equipment with fully redundant power and Internet connections. Access to the servers is only granted to key Mission employees after biometric identification, and the site is fortified to withstand a direct F3 tornado hit.

Notification

Mission Notification Setup Services

The Mission system performs many time-saving functions, and one of the system`s core features is the alarm notification system. When there is an alarm to report, the Mission notification system contacts your staff to alert them of the problem.

Mission Alarm List

Each alarm event that occurs causes a chain-reaction call-out process to begin. Multiple phone numbers can be called simultaneously or in sequence. Methods of contact for call-out destinations include text message, voice call, email, fax, and page.

Mission Voice Notification

Early electronic speech synthesizers sounded very robotic and were often barely intelligible. Mission uses award-winning, state-of-the-art text-to-speech tools to make sure your alarm notification message is clearly audible, even in high noise environments.

Web Data Access

Mission Web Portal

Encrypted Website Data: All Mission customer web pages are secured using "SSL," which stands for Secure Sockets Layer. SSL encryption is generally thought of in e-commerce applications. Mission chooses to employ the same technology that was developed by the credit card companies to secure our customers` data.

Mission Main Map Display

As soon as the user logs in to the Mission website, a map of their devices will be displayed. The shape of each icon shows what type of device it is, and icon is also color-coded as to its current status. The map refreshes every 10 seconds so data displayed is always current. The border color of the map is keyed to the highest level alarm condition displayed on the map.
