MHPS - Electric Generators
Since manufacturing the first generator nearly 100 years ago, MHPS has supplied more than 3,000 units globally for the power and industrial markets. We have the capability to supply units up to 2,000 MVA incorporating Air, Water or Hydrogen Cooling Systems. Our manufacturing facilities are structured as vertically integrated workshops performing all aspects of engineering design, performance, machining, fabrication, assembly and testing. Our generators are efficient, reliable and easy to install and maintain.
Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems - Variable Pitch Axial Flow Fans
The first MHPS variable pitch axial flow fan was developed as a forced draft fan for a thermal power plant in 1965. MHPS has provided more than 500 axial fans since then. MHPS axial fans are operating in various fields such as thermal power plants, desulphurization facilities, blast furnaces, sintering furnaces, ventilation of tunnels, etc.

MHPS - Enhanced All Dry Scrubber System
The Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Enhanced All-Dry (EAD™) scrubber is a simple and flexible technology for multi-pollutant control. Obtained through a license agreement with Solios Environment (formerly Procedair), this patented dry scrubber technology was developed in the 1980s and is the original “Enhanced” All-Dry process. The process employs an entrained flow absorber, lime/ash humidifying mixer and our fabric filter technology to effectively remove pollutants in utility applications to meet new MATS / CSAPR requirements. We are applying the EAD™ scrubber technology using a modular approach which provides both greater operating flexibility and reliability.
MHPS - Flue Gas Desulfurization System
A global company with over 40 years experience in power generating station air quality control improvements including 79 (8 in the US) FGD projects worldwide. MHPS - Fabric Filters
Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems has a license agreement with Balcke-Dürr GmbH, a subsidiary of SPX Corporation, to design and supply fabric filters for the US market. Hitachi and Balcke-Dürr have been working together for many years in the European market . With a proven track record in dust collection technologies and over 100 fabric filter installations worldwide, our innovative designs focus on increased fabric life, effective cleaning of longer bag technology and lower energy consumption.
MHPS - Low NOx Burner
Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems firing systems and components cover a practically unlimited range of gaseous, liquid and solid fuels. The DS® Burner is developed and optimized for a variety of pulverized fuels. As a designer and manufacturer of original parts, we are an ideal partner for modernization and retrofit projects. Depending on fuel property, emission standards, and gas recycling, we provide the optimum firing systems for pulverized coals. The DS® Burner, our new generation burner, is distinguished by minimum emissions and maximum flexibility in fuel types and operating load ranges.
