Remote Video Inspections

Internal video inspections of water facilities performed using a safely disinfected robotic submarine to produce videos on DVD (and VHS) format. Operators of the water facilities can leave their tanks and reservoirs in service and filled with water during the inspection so they can plan for future maintenance or repairs without interrupting service to their customers. The inspection can be viewed as it happens in `real time` and no one is required to enter the tank or reservoir during the video recording. The operator or customer can assist in directing the inspection if they so desire.

Preparation of Mobile Equipment

§ 16 of the drinking water regulation require the development of local emergency measures and plans to follow in case of a supply interruption. These measures and plans require the review and approval of the public health department. In case of an emergency situation, arrangements for decision making have to be made. A disruption in the water supply demands, among other things, the preparation of mobile disinfection equipment.

Disinfection and Cleaning Tanks

Cleaning and disinfection:The DVGW-comprehensive body of legislation: Impurities are caused by air ventilation and deaeration (insects, pollen) or by water ingredients (iron-, lime-, or manganese deposits) in the machines. According to the DVGW-comprehensive body of legislation W 318 and W 281, drinking water tanks have to be inspected once a year and have to be cleaned if necessary. In this process, the system has to be checked for its constructional conditions and its smell-, coating-, and fouling development, whereas type and spreading have to be regarded.

Pressure Test and Disinfection Pipelines and Pipe Systems

Wether a small connection or a large service pipe: The Mösslein service team completes it at a fixed price. Pressure tests: Accelerated standard treatment, Contraction treatment, General procedure with pressure decline test, High pressure treatment up to 60 bar.

Filter Material Exchange and Reconstruction

Different materials for water treatment are used in open and closed filters. An exchange should happen regularly, that is why we provide you a full-service-offer. Removal and safe disposal of old material: The special high suction power vehicle removes the old filter material over distances up to 50 metres away from the filter basin. Tubes and suction equipment in the waterworks are only used for
potable drinking water and comply with the highest hygiene standards. Disinfection and cleaning of the internal filter surfaces. Professional waste disposal of all used materials in accordance with approved regulations.

Disinfection and Cleaning Air Strippers and Oxidators

Mechanical deacidification systems, like air strippers and oxidators, have to be cleaned and disinfected regularly because of the frequency of strong iron and manganese deposits.

Complete Cleaning of Waterworks Installations and Buildings

Hygiene around drinking water: this includes all parts of the building and internals, pipe cellars and working areas. We offer you the disinfection and cleaning of the complete building of all items from the handrails to light fixtures and everything in between including all systems and installations in consideration of your guidelines and standards of cleanliness and disinfection.

We offer this service as a complete service package including all ancillary and peripheral work, mainly in cooperation with the Technical Inspection Agency: Opening of boiler or pressurized reservoir, Disinfection and cleaning of inner surfaces including the elimination of deposits, Final inspection and quality assurance checks, Reconnection and turnover to the customer.

UV-Systems Service
