The Scout III Portable Sampler is a lightweight and portable composite sampler that provides all you need to collect a one gallon composite sample. The Scout III is simple to set up and operate. You set sample size and purge time, with purge cycle before, after, or both before and after sample collection. The Scout III operates on either line or battery power. The Scout III is ideal for sampling in remote locations and in manholes. It meets the requirements for compositing equipment as specified in section 5.1.2 of EPA Method 1613 Revision A released in April 1990.

The Sentry was designed be flexible. It can be used as a portable or fixed location,  wastewater sampler. Composite may be collected simple time or flow proportioned by connecting it to a suitable flow measurement system. or simple composite sample. The addition of  an ice chest or refrigerator to preserve the composite sample, gives you a low cost sampling system. Its no-nonsense design means that you don’t have to be a weight-lifter to carry it, a computer expert to program it, or have an unlimited budget to afford it. The Sentry composites samples in the sample container of your choice, from one gallon to a 55 gallon barrel. It can also be used to feed a laboratory or pilot plants systems. The  Sentry operates on either line or battery power.

2" NPT inlet, 3" NPT exhaust, and open dipper minimize clogging. Constant volume dipper with turbulent mixing of waste in the sampling chamber assures representative samples. Sampler and dipper are constructed of naturally corrosion-proof PVC. Time or flow based (pulse or 4-20 mA) modes standard. Available with or without factory refrigeration.

For use with a self-defrosting model, defrost cycle must be disabled.  Shelves must be open to provide proper circulation.
