Ceramic membrane is consider as third generation membrane technology due to its superior material intrinsic properties. But it is expensive. Given that it found limited application. In 2015 a group of scientists and industry veterans in east India realised the importance of low cost ceramic membrane technology in separation science and technology. Pulling all resources they form Need Inovation in an objective to develop and manufacturer innovative low cost ceramic membrane with module technology for water and wastewater sector.
