New Mexico Metals LLC was founded in 2022 by owners Doug & Jill Cone duplicating their concept of their metal/steel supply business, AZ Metals, in Mesa, Arizona. Metals are widely used in all industries. Residential, industrial, and everywhere in between for construction, fabrication, facilities maintenance, arts & crafts, home hobbyist/DIY, and many others all need metal. Choosing the right metal supplier is the key to getting what you want and when you want it. Doug has been in the metal industry since 1983, working his way from a steel stacker to a plant manager and everything in between. Jill retired from a 21-year nursing career as an RN and joined Doug in 2008. They together finished a 10-year metal franchise agreement and decided to open their own business in 2011. After 11 ½ years of running a successful metal supply business they were ready to start up a second location. This is how New Mexico Metals LLC, a metal supplier in Albuquerque, began.
