NewRetex

NewRetex was founded by Rikke Bech and Morten Balle. Rikke has extensive experience in the textile industry. She recognized the potential in the amount of clothing being produced, sold, and then discarded after only a few uses. While clothing often loses its perceived value after purchase, up to 60 of it can be recycled. Since all recycling technologies require sorted input, the idea to develop a state-of-the-art sorting facility was born. At the same time, new regulations were being introduced, promoting a circular economy in the textile sector.
