Power Analyzers
N4L - Academics, Development and Test
The PPA1500 Power Analyzer is designed for high-performance applications in academic, development, and test environments. It marks a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the PPA500, by featuring a 1MHz bandwidth and a comprehensive graphical display. This display includes harmonic bar graphs and graphical data logging, enhancing the user's ability to analyze complex data. The PPA1500 incorporates sophisticated parallel digital filtering algorithms, enabling its use in various Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) applications. Despite its compact half-rack, 2U high form factor, it is available in several configurations, supporting 1, 2, or 3 phase measurements. It also offers advanced measurement modes such as 'Inrush Current' and 'Standby Power,' providing fast and accurate measurements even in challenging environments. The unit supports a 6-phase 2U rack option and each analyzer is calibrated with both UKAS Accredited and UKAS Traceable certificates, ensuring high accuracy across its entire frequency range. The device is backed by rigorous in-house calibration standards facilitated through a partnership with Oxford University.Frequency Response Analyzers
10uHz to 35MHz Frequency Response Analyzer
Utilising an innovative design that incorporates both direct digital analysis and heterodyning techniques, the PSM1735 provides a broad range of measurement functions over a wider frequency range than any other instrument available today. Typical applications for this product include switched mode power supply feedback loop analysis, filter test and design, LVDT testing, sweep frequency response analysis of wound components and much more. As with other N4L products, PSM1735 NumetriQ utilises the latest DSP and FPGA technology to optimise the use of its analogue hardware providing speed and measurement flexibility without compromise on the performance of each measurement function. The N4L PSM1735 features 0.01dB gain accuracy and 0.02° phase accuracy which is truly market leading performance.
