IAI Impedance Analyzer

The Impedance Analyzer is capable of performing measurements up to 35MHz. It includes an Impedance Analysis Interface, which is an optional component designed for use with the PSM1700 and PSM1735 to create a precise Impedance Analyzer. This device offers all functionalities of the LCR Active Head but with an enhanced frequency and impedance measurement range and improved accuracy. This is achieved through a sophisticated design incorporating an additional internal shunt range, a current amplifier to boost low impedance signal levels, and calibration. The Impedance Analysis Interface can be managed remotely using the PSMComm2 software, allowing result streaming directly to a PC with graphing capabilities and export options for Excel. The combined use forms a high-precision Impedance Analyzer tailored for technical applications requiring detailed impedance analysis.

The Impedance Analysis Interface is an optional measurement interface intended to be used in conjunction with the PSM1700 and PSM1735 to form a high accuracy Impedance Analyzer. The IAI provides all of the functionality offered by the LCR Active Head but with a wider frequency and impedance measurement range plus higher nominal accuracy. This is achieved by a more sophisticated design that includes an addtional internal shunt range, a current amplifier to increase low impedance signal levels and calibration together with the PSM1700/PSM1735 with which it will be used.
