CEMView Server is the core of the CEMView Data Acquisition and Reporting System (DARS) and the OPC specifications is a cornerstone of the CEMView Server application.  Built with the powerful Nexus Calculation Processor technology, the integral OPC Server and OPC Client interfaces provide unparalleled connectivity and flexibility. CEMView Server’s OPC Client connectivity allows for direct communication to the analysis instrument(s).  This is pivotal to the ability for CEMView to be interfaced to practically any analysis instrument and to acquire instrument diagnostic information directly from the analysis instrument.

CEMView Client is the visualization application layer of the CEMView application. It interacts with the CEMView Server application and provides the user interface to display information and to control the CEMView application and all connected CEM analysis instruments. It can be deployed on the local computer or on a remote computer as a Remote CEMView Client application.

CEMView connects directly to most analysis instruments with communication capability using an instrument specific OPC Server. The advantages and benefits of a direct connection, utilizing the Ethernet or serial communication capability of the analyzer are immeasurable.  They include: the elimination of A/D and D/A conversion errors and signal drifts; significant reduction in the cost and complexity of the interconnect wiring; and enhanced maintenance, diagnostic and troubleshooting capability as an invaluable feature.

Hypervisor Host Requirements: CEMView is compatible with the following virtualization software (hypervisor) platforms: Hyper-V, VMWare ESX(i), KVM, Xen Server, etc. All vNIC adapters are supported.

CEMView Gas Auditor is a dynamic, configurable software application to automate the cylinder gas auditing and testing procedures. Complex and labor intensive regulatory compliance tests, such as a Cylinder Gas Audit (CGA) or a Linearity check, are initiated, controlled, recorded and reported with the CEMView Gas Auditor.

A standard feature in all versions of CEMView is the ability to schedule an automatic archiving of the acquired CEM data in the database, the system event and activity logs, and the system and user configuration files. The default main database of the CEMView DAHS is Microsoft’s SQL Server. The archived database data file format is Microsoft® Access data files and the system and user configuration files are compressed using the zip file format.

CEMCoRe is an enterprise class application for corporate reporting of regulatory compliance emissions information. CEMCoRe provides the basis for consolidating emissions data from multiple sources and simplifies the management of the emissions data into a plant, corporate, regional or national view for analysis and reporting.

The ModbusLink is a Modbus slave application designed to be a link between OPC servers and devices that implement the Modbus master protocol. The ModbusLink is a virtual PLC Modbus slave device that can connect to a multiple number of OPC sources to retrieve data. Acquired data is stored in the Modbus address space of the ModbusLink virtual slave device to be retrieved by any Modbus master device. The OPC Modbus Slave Link application implements the Modbus RTU and ASCII slave protocols for serial ports and Modbus over TCP/IP for Ethernet ports.
