Our Materials Testing Division provides full-scope soils, materials testing, and special inspection services utilizing our certified/accredited/licensed laboratory facilities and personnel. From small additions to new high school campuses, hospitals, commercial/industrial complexes, freeways, and airports, our Materials Testing Division has the experienced personnel to provide Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) testing and inspection services for your project.
Earthwork Observation & Testing Services
Ninyo & Moore has provided geotechnical observation and testing services for millions of cubic yards of earthwork since our inception in 1986. Our field compaction testing services are provided by experienced soil technicians working under the supervision of licensed professional engineers. In addition to providing compaction services, our field staff also provides material compliance sampling and testing.
Laboratory Testing Services
Ninyo & Moore`s accredited laboratories provide full-service soils and construction materials testing services. Our laboratories are under the supervision of licensed professional engineers and are accredited and/or certified by national organizations, including the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and the Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL). We participate in reference sample programs administered by the AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL). Our laboratories are also certified by their respective State regulatory agencies, as well as local governing agencies, including county and city certifications. Testing is performed by qualified and trained laboratory personnel who maintain individual certifications for laboratory testing.
