Forensic Engineering & Expert Witness Services

Ninyo & Moore performs forensic evaluations to assist clients in assessing the cause of distress to structures and other improvements, and to provide appropriate repair recommendations. Forensic evaluations are performed on behalf of law firms, insurance companies, and municipal, commercial, and residential owners. An understanding of geologic conditions and soil-structure interactions is vital to properly evaluate the contributing causes of distress and develop the appropriate corrective actions. Our staff is experienced in coordinating unit-by-unit inspections of small to large building complexes and single-family homes efficiently and without undue aggravation to owners.

Laboratory Testing Services

Ninyo & Moore`s accredited laboratories provide full-service soils and construction materials testing services. Ninyo & Moore`s laboratories are capable of performing a wide variety of geotechnical and materials testing services, including soils and aggregates, asphalt concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry, prestressed concrete, structural steel, welding, roofing, and fireproofing. Our laboratories are under the supervision of licensed professional engineers and are accredited and/or certified by national organizations, including the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and the Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL).
