The considerable quantity of old tyres which are produced every year across the world forces us to search for solutions which enable us to recycle this waste (nowadays more correctly known as reusable waste material) in an economic and environmentally-friendly manner. Old tyre dumps, such as those in Mexico which burn for years and years, represent a huge and uncontrollable hazard to the environment and emit tonnes of greenhouse gases every day.

In the case of paper sorting, the important thing is that used paper is separated from minor impurities, films and carton and then to press it into bales depending on quality and requirements. The aim is to reduce the amount of manual work required to a minimum (in ideal cases, below 4%).
